    Contents

The student will acquire familiarity and knowledge of topics concerning some practical aspects related to i) Archaeological sciences in the framework of Archaological Stratigraphies and relative chronological sequencing; ii) Physical methodologies in the framework of dating; materials characterization and stable istotope applications.

    Textbook and course materials

    Course objectives

Knowledge and application of the main Archeological concepts related to stratigraphy. Knowledge and application of theoretical principles and Technical protocols of physical analyses of archaeological materials. Integration of results coming from Archeological and physical sciences to produce conceptual models of interpretations for the study cases.

    Prerequisites

    Teaching methods

Frontal Classes and numerical exercizes for a total of (6x8) 48 hours (see Extended program section)

    Evaluation methods

Methods for learning verification include: an oral part that competes with 100% of the final assessment.
