Course objectives | The learning goals of this integrated Course include:- the knowledge on cellular and molecular bases of the structure of bacteria, fungi and viruses. The methods of pathogens transmission with particular reference to the most common microorganisms transmissible by air. The general principles of the microbiological diagnosis with respect to pathogens of the oral cavity. The development of some pathologies with microbial etiology of the oral cavity to understand the concept of microbial pathogenicity and the interactions between host/ microorganism. |
Prerequisites | Physics, Cell Biology and general and organic chemistry |
