Course objectives | The objective of this course is to provide an overview of cellular microbiology applied to human health. Moreover, the course will give an overview of biotechnological strategies in microorganisms for production of molecules related to human health. |
Prerequisites | Knowledge acquired with a Bachelor degree in Biotechnology or in Biology, or equivalent academic degrees. |
Teaching methods | Frontal lessons and seminars |
Evaluation methods | Verification of learning consist in an oral exam. Questions are organized in three parts, corresponding to the three sections of the course program. |
